Anna Margaret Coffey-Weaver Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Our beloved Anna Margaret Coffey-Weaver was born March 23, 1932 in Monticello, Kentucky to the late Shell and Vadie Coffey. She Married James Parker Weaver Sr. and later moved to Lexington, Kentucky to raise their five children. Later, she attended Centre College ,where she received an associates degree. Anna is preceded in death by her husband James Weaver Sr.They were married in the summer on June 14th. She was 90 years old before she returned to the Lord. She had a joyous soul. Her hobbies ranged from a love of singing, playing the guitar, & wrestling- especially with her grand children. She found peace outdoors while fishing, gardening, and dancing. Anna was out an outgoing, loving, nurturing, spirit-guided woman. She had a way of putting a smile on your face , whether she was sharing words of wisdom or telling one of her many jokes. She was truly one of a kind, and no one was stranger in her eyes! She loved her children dearly. Those that precede her include her sons Dale and Frederick Weaver, her only daughter Donna Weaver-Jewett, and her grandson Jamitre Weaver. Also brother’s Roland, Willie Ed, and Randall Coffey and sisters Pastor Gloria Johnson, Marietta Callan, and Martha Jones. She’s cherished by her sister’s Juanita, Betty Sue, Emma, Shirley and Sons James (Lucille) Weaver and Joel (Lorraine) Weaver. She was truly loved by her grandchildren; Terri, Jewell, Wenonah, Donovan, Robert, Frederick, Julius, Shanice, James, Jamaal, Jamie, Laiona, Jamika, Donald, Dale, Jazreal, and Brian. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family. She attended The Greater Shabak temple of God led by Bishop J.B Thomas. The family would like to mention her special friends; Frances Mabson, Myrtle, Quintana, Spanky, and Sheryl & Robert.
