Helen Marie Bell. Coleman

Helen Marie Bell Coleman was born in Clarksville, TN, on September 13, 1942, to the union of the late John S. Bell, Sr., and Ruby S. Blair Bell. She was called from this life to life eternal on December 22, 2022. She studied and graduated from high school in the public schools system of Montgomery County (TN). She continued her education with studies at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. She was employed since 1978 as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), working many years at Lexington Country Place (an assisted living facility) until her time of failing health. She was united in holy matrimony to Rev. Robert Louis Coleman, Sr., on November 27, 1958. To this union, two children were born: Cassandra Helen Coleman and Robert Louis Coleman, Jr. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2013. Having professed her faith in Christ at an early age, she later moved her membership by letter from Redeemed Missionary Baptist Church (Indianapolis, IN) to Main Street Baptist Church on August 9, 1992, under the pastoral services of Elder D. J. Ward. Here she attended and served faithfully. For many years, she worked in the Children’s Dept., as one of the musicians for the Children’s Choir. As a musician, she loved playing hymns of the church and would often provide music for evening worship services. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, and playing the piano. Preceding her in death also were three brothers: Barry Wayne Bell, Blair Edward Bell, and John S. Bell, Jr. She leaves to cherish loving memories two children: Cassandra Helen Dunford of Versailles, KY and Robert Louis (Theresa) Coleman, Jr., of Indianapolis, IN; five grandchildren: Cassandra Jeri’ Dunford of Louisville, KY; Thomesha Marie Dunford of Clarksville, TN; Robert Louis Coleman, III of Evansville, IN; Grace Elizabeth Coleman and Zoe Coleman, both of Indianapolis, IN; four great-grandchildren: Zachariah Taylor of Clarksville, TN; Monae Coleman of Indianapolis, IN; Ruby Jasennia Lewis, of Louisville, KY; and Robert Zakayden Coleman of Indianapolis, IN; two sisters: Grace Jean Massey and Dorothy Louise Marshall, both of Clarksville, TN; sisters-in-law: Winifred Renae Bell of Nashville, TN; Betty Ann Brooks of Indianapolis, IN; Mary R. Smith of Nashville, TN; and Etta Louise Coleman of Clarksville, TN; cousins; many friends; and a loving church family.
