ShaReece Sha Keeiam Jackson

Born November 14, 1993, at 5pm at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. From the day ShaReece was born she was a very loving child. She had the most beautiful smile that would brighten up any room. ShaReece was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 6. She struggled with her disease because as she said, I don’t want to be different.” “ August 12, 2024, Shareece departed our lives at 5:52pm because of her lengthy battle with diabetes. My baby fought long and hard, she was “Tired,” so she went to be with the Lord. We made the decision to donate her organs. This was a wonderful experience to know that she will be helping people because of her donations. Her Liver went to recipient here in Kentucky and her pancreas is being taken for diabetes research. She was preceded in death by her Grandmother Brenda K. Jackson, Grandfathers James W. Taylor Sr. and Thomas E. Jones Sr., Uncle Antoine Taylor, Great Grandmother Rosetta Sparks, Great Aunt and Uncle Jacquline and James Smith, Great Aunt Janice L. Taylor. These are the ones in her time but many more before. She leaves to carry on her Legacy her mother Stephanie M. Jackson, Father figure Shelvin B. Mack (Victoria Guy), Brother Terrance L. Drake Jr., Sister Fenisha M. Morton, Aunts Bridget Hampton (Thomas), Kimberly Gill (Tammy) James W. Taylor (Carlie), Elisha Bronston (Max), and her daughter who was part of her strong will to live Mardella’Roze Haynes. She has a host of cousins that she grew up with and loved more like siblings: William A Champs Jr., LeDarius D. Jackson, Taekawon B. Champs, Rainele D. Jackson, Tantalissia R. Champs, Xavier M. Champs, Destinee D. Champs, Joshua M. Smith, Barry L. Taylor III, Diamond S. August, Genaya R. Smith, Dominique S. August. ShaReece also has Brendan, Bryson, Braxston, Braidan, Joseph, Marcus and David, her nephews that she loved and cherished as her own. In our lives we have family that are blood, but it is rare to have those friends that become family by choice. There were three that she chose as her Sista’s: Kimberlee Marie Ann Joseph has been her ride or die since kindergarten, Delilah Traugott, and Amanda M. Abreu. These ladies have seen ShaReece through good, bad, and indifferent so ladies thank you for being that friend to her in all her moments.
