Martha Lee Baldwin

June 25, 1934 - May 11, 2021

Martha Lee Baldwin, a native of Lexington, Kentucky, was born on June 25, 1934. Martha was the daughter of the late McKinley and Anna Baldwin. She was called home to be with the Lord on May 11, 2021 at Bluegrass Nursing Home. Sister Martha was baptized at Greater Liberty Baptist Church at an early age and a faithful member until her sickness. She was a retiree of the University of Kentucky and attended the original Dunbar High School as a member of the Class of 1952. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband Richard Jett; two sisters, Elizabeth (Baldwin) Mason and Eliza (Baldwin) Evans; and five brothers, McKinley, Bennie, Robert, Jerry and Ned Baldwin. Sister Martha Baldwin leaves to cherish memories, two surviving sisters, Anna (Baldwin) Denny and Mary Vernita (Baldwin) Turner; a special niece, Nelcedealia Perkins; two great-nieces, Vada Brown (Vincent) Coles and Venessa Brown (Charles) Montgomery; special friends, Gary Young and Lizette Parks; as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends
