Obituary Anthony Amos Coleman Lexington, Kentucky – Anthony Amos Coleman, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and a proud veteran, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, in Lexington, Kentucky. He was 60 years old. Born on March 19, 1965, Anthony was the son of the late Estelle and Cecil Coleman. He was also preceded in death by his cherished grandparents, Ann and Amos Pugh, his siblings Deborah Wigginton and Earl Coleman, and his niece Malerie Coleman. Anthony dedicated eleven years of his life to honorable service in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant. From 1985 to 1996, he served with distinction, earning numerous commendations including the Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, and Overseas Service Ribbon. His expertise was recognized with the Expert Qualification Badge for the M16 rifle, the Sharpshooter Badge for the hand grenade, and the Driver and Mechanic Badge. Anthony’s military education included specialized training as an M1 Abrams Tank System Mechanic and Primary Leadership Development. Following his distinguished military career, Anthony built a successful and long-standing career at Sunbelt Rentals, where he dedicated 27 years as a Service Manager and Mechanic. His commitment and skill were evident in his work. Beyond his professional life, Anthony was known most for his witty personality, generous spirit, and wise words that touched the lives of all who knew him. Music was his passion; he found joy in singing and playing the guitar. He also cherished his time spent fishing and riding his motorcycle. Anthony is survived by his loving wife, Toherana Coleman, who was his devoted partner. He leaves behind his beloved children: Ann Coleman Webb (Shawn), Candace Coleman Tichenor (Donte), Crystal Coleman, and Anthony Mosher. Grandchildren Tony Webb, Zoey Webb, and Kingston Tichenor, who will deeply miss his presence. He also leaves behind his nieces Shaye Wigginton and Sheridan Wigginton (Thomas), and nephew Quentin Coleman (Amber). A host of extended family and friends who loved him dearly. Anthony’s legacy of love, laughter, and dedication will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His quiet strength and profound impact will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
